-Ensure the manufacturing plant has the highest possible level of engineering availability at all times with respect to both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance for any breakdowns.

Key skills and experience

Due to the award of new contracts, a PLC Software Engineer is now required to complete functional design specifications, carry out FAT tests in house, site commissioning and the configuration of software. Ideally you will have water or process project experience with Mitsubishi, Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC, WinCC, RSView or InTouch SCADA. Knowledge of hardware design is advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate will be motivated and determined with excellent communication skills. You must also be prepared to stay away from home for periods of time to complete final commissioning.
