* Ensure that the current business systems (e.g. quality, working instructions, techniques, engineering, etc) are in line with automated processes and that they are understandable, produce good quality parts and only allow us to follow the rules of the company and department. Identify any systems that are failing or missing and ensure that a suitable replacement is developed and implemented where necessary. 
* Instigate and manage the delivery of effective communication links across department and within Cells. 
* Manage manufacturing improvement activities in an open, enthusiastic and positive manner to encourage participation and development of a culture of continuous improvement at all levels.
