Deputy Manager - South Yorkshire - South Yorkshire, South Yorkshire
A position has become available for a Deputy Manager in South Yorkshire to work at a small nursing home that caters for elderly residents some of whom suffer from dementia. This role is ideally suited to candidates with experience working within similar size home or for a senior nurse looking for career progression.
The Role
Ensure all staff members contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the nursing home
Maintain effective communications with the Home Manager
Supervise visits and liaise with GPs and Health Care Professionals in order to establish good relationships
Arrange staff and client meetings as and when required
Assist the Home Manager with formal appraisal of staff members in line with home policy
To be considered for this position you will need to have:
A RGN qualification with experience of working with elderly care within a nursing home setting.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Have a clear and thorough knowledge of the CQC standards.
Must have experience at supervisory level within a nursing home
Senior nurses will be considered for this role.
Package:
?27,000 - ?29,000 Dependant on experience
