CMO – AI-Native Legal Intelligence Platform
Part-time | 2 days/week | Equity + Salary | August/September 2026
We are building an AI-native legal intelligence platform designed to transform how legal professionals access, analyse, and apply legal information. We are a small, ambitious founding team at an exciting early stage, and we are looking for a hands-on CMO to build our marketing function from the ground up.
The Role
This is a founding-level marketing role with full ownership across all marketing disciplines. You will work directly with the founding team to define and execute how our product enters the market and how the world comes to know and trust what we are building.
We are not looking for someone to manage an existing function. We are looking for someone who is energised by building one.
You will be responsible for:
- Defining and executing our brand identity, tone of voice, and visual presence
- Developing and owning all content across digital channels, including website, social media, and newsletters
- Leading go-to-market planning for the product launch and subsequent campaigns
- Building and executing digital marketing and SEO strategies to drive awareness and acquisition
- Building relationships and presence within relevant communities in the legal and technology sectors
- Tracking and reporting on marketing performance, audience growth, and pipeline contribution
- Identifying and managing external creative and marketing partners where needed
- Working closely with the founding team to translate a complex AI product proposition into compelling, accessible narratives
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience building marketing functions, ideally from scratch
- Strong across brand, content, digital marketing, and go-to-market strategy
- Comfortable executing as well as directing — this is a hands-on role
- Interested in or experienced within the legal and/or technology sector
- Commercially minded, with a clear understanding of how marketing drives revenue and pipeline
- Data-driven approach to performance tracking and audience development
- Experience managing external agencies, freelancers, and creative partners
- Start-up or early-stage experience is a strong plus
