Streamline Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join a growing luxury skin care company based in Central London. This is a varied and hands-on role where you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while supporting the wider business with reporting, budgeting, payroll, and financial administration.\nWorking closely with management and external accountants, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the finance department and maintaining accurate financial records across the business.\nKey Responsibilities\n * Processing supplier invoices and managing the purchase ledger.\n * Raising customer invoices and overseeing credit control activities.\n * Managing supplier payments and employee expenses.\n * Reconciling and maintaining four company bank accounts.\n * Preparing cash flow forecasts and monitoring business performance.\n * Producing sales revenue reports and management information.\n * Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and board reporting packs.\n * Managing payroll administration, PAYE, National Insurance, and staff commissions.\n * Monitoring business loans, including interest calculations and repayments.\n * Supporting budgeting, target setting, and variance analysis.\n * Preparing and submitting VAT returns.\n * Liaising with external accountants regarding annual accounts preparation.\n * Supporting financial information required for R&D tax credit submissions.\n * Assisting with stock valuation and inventory reporting.\n * Maintaining KYC documentation for banking facilities and corporate accounts.\n * Managing insurance renewals and finance-related administration.\n * Liaising with the landlord and overseeing business rates administration.\n * Providing ad-hoc financial reports and analysis for management.\n * Supporting HR and operational administration where required.\n * Assisting with IT-related administration and supplier coordination.\nWhat We're Looking For\n * Previous experience in a Bookkeeper, Senior Bookkeeper, or similar finance position.\n * Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial controls.\n * Experience managing accounts within an SME environment.\n * Knowledge of VAT, payroll, PAYE, and National Insurance processes.\n * Experience with cash flow forecasting and financial reporting.\n * Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.\n * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.\n * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.\n * Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.\n * AAT qualification or equivalent would be advantageous.\nMonday – Friday fully office based. 09:00-17:00\n6 month contract with potential to go perm,\n£DOE.\nIf you are interested in discussing further, please apply today
